ReadDITT Construction Ltd is delighted to advise that a defibrillator has been installed outside their premises at Holmsgarth Road, Lerwick. The equipment has been supplied by the charity Lucky2bhere, which was set up by Skye man Ross Cowie in 2007. He survived a cardiac arrest at his local shinty club thanks to the fact that an ambulance with a defibrillator on board was passing by at the time. DITT has made a donation to the charity, providing matched funding to go along with money that was raised from recycling scrap and waste materials. Thanks are also particularly due to Erik Johnson from Nortech Marine for his generosity.

ReadDITT started construction of these 11 houses for Hjaltland Housing Association in January 2017 and completion is planned early spring 2018.
ReadDITT are delighted to have been awarded the contract to construct the new Entrance and Gymnasium at Clickimin Leisure Complex. This continues a long and successful working relationship with Shetland Recreational Trust, previous major projects undertaken include; Clickimin Swimming Pool and Bowls Hall, Scalloway Swimming Pool, Sandwick Swimming Pool and Clickimin Squash Courts. Works on the new Entrance and Gymnasium are due to commence Oct 2017, which with the additional traffic from Anderson High School shall mean DITT have some challenging times ahead. We hope that the general public shall be tolerant of the situation.
